At Waterlake Farm Lifestyle Estate, the fishing and picnic area offers residents a more relaxed side of estate living. Set around the dam and surrounded by natural beauty, it creates a space for peaceful mornings, outdoor gatherings, and quality time spent enjoying the estate’s scenic surroundings.
Owners are allowed to fish in the dam on a catch-and-release basis. The dam is home to carp, bass, and barbell, and many hours are spent here enjoying the outdoors and sharing stories around the water.
One of the most beautiful natural areas on the farm has been developed into a dedicated picnic area. Six covered braai areas, designed in different aesthetic styles, are positioned along the banks of the dam, creating a welcoming setting for relaxed picnics, outdoor meals, and time spent in nature.
These facilities are exclusively for the use of owners of property in the estate, with no additional fee required for use.
Use of the picnic area by residents or their visitors is entirely at their own risk at all times. Every member of the Association waives any right he or she may have against the Association to claim for any damage, loss of property, or personal injury suffered by the resident or their visitors while on the estate. Every resident and his or her visitor indemnifies the Association against any such claim.
